Cake Recipes

I have never made this but it is a very old Polish cake recipe that is prepared for special occasions such as weddings. I found this in my mother-in-laws cookbook and had someone translate it for me. I sure hope I have typed it correctly. P.S. I started with one recipe and changed my mind to this.i will show you what's the Recipe of this homemade cake .

Ingredients

• 2 (1/4 oz) pkg., active dry yeast (2 Tbsps.)
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 cup warm water
• 1 cup unsalted butter or margarine, room temperature
• 2 eggs
• 1 pint warm milk (2 cups)
• 6-1/2 cups All-purpose flour
• a pinch of salt
• 4 cups 2% milk
